Till Death Do Us Part…
Death is coming whether we want to receive it, believe it or
not. The day that we accepted the Lord
Jesus Christ as our Savior, we said, “I do.”
We got hitched! “I’s Married Now!” And with that being said, we are joined in
Holy Matrimony for Life.
Revelation 2:10 says, “Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life.”
In other words – Until death do us
part…
The day that I married my natural husband, the same as I received salvation from Christ; I knew that I was signing up for more than I
had bargained for but I knew that my reward would outweigh the risk; so I chose
not to lean to my own understanding but in all of my ways acknowledge him and he would direct my path.
Ask yourself this… Why enter into the covenant of marriage if your intention isn't to do
everything within both yours and the Lord’s power to remain in it, and not just
remain, but be blessed in a way deeper, more intimately, righteously,
unashamedly and diverse; than being single and going through alone? Everything I do, I want to do it with God.
The Lord vowed to me and made me a promise that he would forever keep me and never forsake me. He promised
to love me, for better or for worse, and provide for me, richer or poorer, through
sickness and health; and “Till death do us part” and I intend on holding him to
his promise(s). His word has never, nor will ever fail me or
return to him void.
Instead of looking for the “out”, try looking for a word of “faith” to keep you “in”.
Ask yourself this… “Do you believe in marriage or don’t you?”
“Do you want all the gifts of God or don’t you?” “Do you believe that God will honor his vows
to you or don’t you?” “Do you want all that God has for you or don’t you?”
Just as sure as you are about death, be just as sure about Life!
