Can't Afford It?

Can’t Afford It?

Don’t buy it if you can’t afford it… How many times have we heard that?  Many cannot afford whatever it is that we have our hearts desire set upon.

If you say to yourself, “I’m going to go to college and earn a degree to be able to support my family, purchase a house and vehicle”, and you do just that and retire at 65 or 70 years old; take a vacation once or twice a year and purchase a refrigerator magnet to commemorate where you have ventured or a bottle cap opener – Did you get what you said that you wanted?  Can you be upset with anyone if you got just what you asked for – Did you not ask for just that?

Going to any lender requesting any extension of credit unless in acquisition of another company – you cannot truly afford it – Mortgages are for people who cannot afford to purchase the house outright, same for the five years or more car loan – We cannot afford it, so we borrow  what we want.
And just after the 30 year mortgage is paid, you’re just old enough to live in it a few years before you’re edged out by the kids and into a convalescent home to live out the remainder of your days wondering ”What if” and “What could have been”?

God said that He would give us houses that we didn’t build and vineyards that we didn’t plant.  No one invades and takes over a region that isn’t profitable or well-off.  Napa Valley vineyards are worth an invasion, not our window box planting of herbs.  And waterfront properties are worth a battle, not shanty towns.  When God sent the Israelites in to possess the land, the land was of milk and honey, homes and vineyards because they were going to possess a wealthy land.

I no longer desire what I can afford but rather what I cannot.  If I can’t afford it no way, why not believe for exceeding and abundant?  I cannot afford Salvation but nevertheless, I want it – And I receive it.

We cannot afford the lifestyle we want, so why not simply receive it?

Our country of capitalism is ran off the idea of buy now and pay later.  God’s economy is run off of the idea and principal of faith

If you can’t afford it, then you are perfectly positioned for the miracles of God.  Miracles are birthed from necessity plus the desire to see the hand of God move in our lives.

If you know like me, you don’t want to be able to afford it.
