Hand-in-Hand...

Get your focus and footing back by taking your mind off of your problems and putting them solely on the problem solver who is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Many of us can do the unthinkable, the unimaginable and the impossible if we would only trust God, His impeccable timing and His intentional plan and purpose for our lives.

We get distracted by the storms that surround us and totally forget that Jesus was the one that called us out here in the storm. He was already in it before we got called to it, in it while we are enduring it, and will pull us out before we are overtaken; or should He so choose, speak to the storm and cease it from being… Either way, He has us covered.

We must remain focused if we are going to do what others have not seen since the day of Jesus Christ and that is to walk on water in our spirit! I’m not getting back in the boat, I’m going to walk hand-in-hand with Jesus back to shore!

Relax Nigga... Gang Bang.

I do love how we did it, as one, snatched the word and taste right out of their mouths – the word Nigga. 

Sorry, but we had to take nigga and destigmatize the sting of it.  We allowed you use of it and cracker you had the nerve to use it on every one of us.  Yeah, I said cracker, like you say nigga.  We don’t call every black person a nigga, but when they act unwise or unknowledgeable, then you wear the dunce cap aka nigga.

Some white folks know some straight up crackers; those the ones  that I am talking about – they act real niggerish at times; that’s in your family, that’s some of the people you know, that’s America and that’s a fact of life.

Destigmatization has to be the mentality regarding every stereotype associated to us as a race(s).  We are classified as race(s) for a specific reason.  If we are all Americans, then why are we keeping up with who’s who?   As you can see, African-Americans were built with pure athleticism.  Head-starts are given to those who we know that we can beat. 

Am I saying white folk are inferior? - Of course not.  To go mono-e-mono with Great Britain showed grit.  Those crackers could fight - From the Founding Fathers and on down to their descendants.  If you list me in your Constitution as chattel, nigger, or a form of property, then you are debasing me and calling me out of my name.  Oh so we using fighting words now? We hitting below the belt? Name calling and such.  Ok, so now we know the Rules of Engagement; it’s a Golden Rule right? 

But niggas… Is that all that we are going to snatch?  Is that all we want?  God said to speak life – What do you think He meant?  He already told you to use your words, speak them into the atmosphere and then snatch them back out of that same atmosphere – freedom, justice, peace, prosperity, equality, and The American Way.

To snatch something means to: quickly seize in an eager way.

Racism has a root cause – race.  You really want to know if you are a racist.  If true equality was possible (and it is), would you be all for it?  Do you feel some type of way about another race of people come along side of you and there wasn't a head-start given to either?  If you do, then you are a racist.  You don’t have racist tendencies or “qualities”, as though they were admirable, but you are fully a racist. 

Now what?  Exactly!  Somebody knows where the little wooden square cubed with a number one on it is, because that’s where we are back to – Square one.

We Gang Bang.  Not Piru or Crips, but we all claim a sect in America.  As with gangs, a lot of banging goes on because we are “USA Country” strong.  We know that we are in this together – we just need to act like it. 

You are so about your sect, your political affiliation, but you can cross over the aisle to get what you want.  Party lines are blurred every day for the given reasons of love or hate.  We are a Nation of Americans, and this Country hasn't ever been that of pure white and pure black.  There is much loving going on in America behind closed doors apparently – mulatto-ly speaking.

America is a controlled experiment and the Earth it’s controlled environment; sort of like prison.  You ever wonder why the prison population cannot just do their time without all of the violence.  Life on the inside goes on just as it does on the outside of the gated community.  We as both humans and Americans respond the exact same way; some do hard time, a life of poverty; while others do federal time, and life with a little more freedom, and a few more perks – it’s still time.  Prisoners wear uniforms to identify themselves; white waist-length lab coats with M.D. stitching, the men and women in blue and tailored suits with desk placards that read esquire or P.A. – You gang-banger you… End gang-banging and we end who we are as Americans. 

It’s not just when the South rises but when we all rise as Americans that we can truly become The United States of America.  United we stand, united we fall.  “One Nation, under God (Uh Oh!), indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All” – In other words… Snatch it! We aren't using words against any one sect; in fact, claim your sect – Republican, Democrat, Independent, Black, White, or Brown, or the likes thereof, it’s the same America.  Let’s just make sure that it’s inclusive of all Americans.  America is the land of Free trade, free market, Freedom and a Free-For-All – Right?

They are just colors... Red, White and Blue...  No matter the arrangement on a flag - America - still the land of the Red, White and Blue - It's the sect we represent - Right?

Broke As A Joke... Broke Is The New Rich. Don't Be A Mannequin & Go All Hollywood.

I just don’t, I don’t understand how the world has contortioned itself into an unrecognizable society. Broke has become the “New Rich”. We are allowing the people of the poorest reputations and spirit; dictate to us what it is that life is all about and “they” are the ones getting rich.

How can we now be taking advice from the ones that were once just a few “likes and views” in need of advice themselves, and now they are prescribing dosages of cure-alls that are causing a pandemic of overdoses in self-depredation? We are no longer trying to head off an epidemic; and so this social media disease has created a multitude of quacks and self-dosing false guru’s, with a certification in self-aggrandizement – In other words, the blind-leading-the-blind and this entire world is falling into the ditch.
If the person’s spirit you are receiving advise or counseling from doesn't reflect success in the area that you are pursuing their consultation for, then what exactly can they really tell you or offer you that will create the life that you are so desperate in need of that you are seeking outside help? If all they have is money – that’s not success. They are still Broke As A Joke, and the joke is going to be on you. They leave with the blessing and you leave with the blessing plan.
This goes for people inside and outside of the faith. Stardom is just that – Star-Dumb phonically speaking.
People of a broken spirit have a testimony, we all do, but that doesn't constitute that they know best. And maybe you just need to accept the lesson and decipher the difference between broke and broken.
A divorced person can only navigate you on how to overcome the devastation of divorce. A divorced and re-married person can counsel you on how to get over the hurt and on to another life.
The Mannequin Challenge had its time… And it has passed. If you take anything from that, take that it is passe.
Role Models are nothing more than mannequins. Just because it fits on the mannequin doesn’t mean that it will be tailored to who you are. Try on life in God for yourself, and when He blesses you, don’t go all Hollywood; and it will bespoken HOT!

We all get the same amount of time; the same twenty-four hours in a day and seven days a week.  However, the successful cannot seem to find enough time in the day and others find themselves having more hours in a day that they care to have.  Why?  Because time used productively is the difference between times passing by or time simply passing.

Utilization of our time is best served, serving God and one another.  Time serving another’s agenda is time serving them and we become frustrated living in a life of defeat.

Life can be as open or as closed as we trust God to keep our storehouses of convenience stocked and ready to be a purveyor of His agenda.

Our best life is All In A Days Work – literally.

I'm Speechless. "Are You Up For The Challenge?"

I know that many of you have heard people either talk or preach about the word “Grace”.  Have you ever really wondered what “Grace” really was?

Grace is described by most as God’s unmerited favor of giving us what we don’t deserve; but it’s never been explained as to how it affects both believers and non­-believers alike.  And today I want to assist you as to what grace feels like; so that you can experience it for yourself; or more so, be cognizant of the experience of what is actually taking place.

Alright, let’s get this started.  It’s really simple.  Trust me.

How this quasi-challenge came into being was out of an observation that I see most people committing on a daily basis but aren't even aware that they are even doing it; it’s habitual and habits are hard to separate from.

I watch Bill Maher’s HBO Talk Show “Real Time”, used to also be known as “Politically Correct”, back when he aired on Comedy Central. Had he (Bill), not hosted his own television series, I would think that he would have possibly found himself in the throes of the ACLU in some way shape or form, for his stances and views, from my personal opinion.

Bill’s language is pretty spicy at times and I get that, I understand that; he is a comedian that gets paid very well to do what he does; I get that, I got that – until now.

Bill will be my example because he is one of the great champions of the Atheist.  However, like Bill, many of you take the Lord’s name in vain and even in the case(s) with Bill – I know that neither you nor he does it intentionally.  I get that.  I don’t think that no one intends on being offensive or vulgar; it’s a part of the culture and a part of us.  So, when you smashed you little baby toe against that big bad indomitable coffee table or God forbid the corner of your bed – Ouch!  An expletive sure would fit good right about now!  G-dammit! Are you G-dam kidding me? Jesus! Jesus Christ!  Lord Have Mercy! Lordy!, Lordy!, Lordy! Good Lord! And so forth and so on… I think you are catching the drift.

These phrases have the tendency to be used at crucial moments, when our exasperation is at its highest point or our fear at its greatest – Or when we have either experienced personally, or witnessed greatness!

Now what you have just experienced is – “Grace” my friend.  You say to me, “How?”  I’ll prove it to you real quick and simple.

The next time that hot leather seat that has been sitting in 100 degree weather touches where your shirt had come up from your pants or skirt and glances across the skin on the small of your back, don’t use the expletive using God or the Lord or Christ or for Christ Sakes - Try and find something else to fit perfectly when your tires can’t save you from skidding across the lane, and you arrive to your next destination in one piece and sans a scratch.  What other great word would express your thankfulness?  God is saying to you and to me, stop using His name in vain.

We have been taking Him for granted long enough and He wants you to experience what life would be like without Him.  God has been allowing you to use His grace and hasn't expressed a qualm about it - until now. 

He wants you to realize just how much we do need Him on a daily basis and how much you yourself actually do give Him recognition, but He no longer wants to be gracious, if I can say it that way.  Either you give Him His full due or don’t use His grace for only those times of elation or trouble – In other words… He is there for us all the day long and you get speechless about the power that it actually behind the expletive that you are calling upon and evoking on your behalf without giving Him his just due.

You may find your way of finally breaking that nasty habit of a foul mouth; and that is always a good thing; while others of you may very well find yourselves not speaking much at all – “I’m Speechless.”, is what you may find.

But, what is almost better than that is that you find yourself knowing that you would rather have the grace of God covering you throughout this life, and give Him his credit by reverencing Him properly – With a healthy fear and respect that what He could have allowed, didn't happen.

After several attempts you will dramatically experience the difference of what having had God, what having God with you, and not having God with you are - And make the comparison for yourself.  God is there – period – In times of hurt or happiness.  Either way you will find that you needed Him more than you ever thought imaginable.  And it’s so like God, and why those of us who choose to serve and believe Him are keenly and acutely aware of – How flimsy life is.  What you don’t want to learn is how flimsier it may very well become, if you fail this challenge.

And there you have it – Grace 101.  This class has Pop-Quizzes often, so remember what was taught to you at the beginning of this class.  Class… Look to your left, look to your right, now look down at yourself – Some of you might not make it through a semester, but those of you that do - Welcome to the Grace University.

Hit The Road Jack... "Make America Great Again".

Win the Nation, Win the World.  Yes, it’s just that simple - America in all her simplistic splendor; each one caring about the next one. 

The country became great after everyone became accountable.  There was a time when the Titans of the industries that shaped our country held the majority of the cards but once the game was opened to innovation that’s what changed our stature throughout the global markets. 

And the substratum that under-girded the weight of such growth was a thinly veiled fabric in the brilliant colors of Red, White and Blue billowing in the wind.  The Melting Pot of ooey, gooey, fondue; all melting into one communal pot that each of us was able to dip into and partake of; each group was adding another element of flavor blending and causing other countries to salivate as our pot bubbled and percolated, until blessings ran over.  What on earth was making her so great, is what they wondered and marveled?

It was The Church, The Temple, The Mosque, The Synagogue, The Gurdwara, The Chapel, The Cathedral, The Monastery, The Convent, The Shrine, The Meeting House, The Kiva or any and every type of place to worship was better for one and all.  “A house that is divided is sure to fall”.  America is our house and day-by-day another piece crumbles from all of the inward fighting; soon she’ll be too weak to ward off a dominant enemy.

Attacks against America aren't to one individual group but to us as a whole; and that’s exactly how we must respond as an entire fist.  You don’t slap a persistent enemy; you knock the hell out of them and remind them who you are!

Our country is being hijacked and nope it’s not Trump; there is no singular weapon of warfare destruction, it’s a conglomerate.  And we must respond in kind and like manner – As one America.

I designate the arbitrary date of October 22, 2017 as our day of recompense.  A day to put up or shut up!  Let us show ourselves first and I guarantee you that word will spread as it once did about her greatness once again.  Our saving grace will come from within our boundaries of sea to shining sea.

The date aforementioned falls on a Sunday which was the only intentional part of this coming together; and it’s not for the reason you think but rather because most businesses, even the government is closed and those closures are paramount to what I am about to request.  And that request is that each and every one of those places of worship above also shut its doors and venture out into the streets – with one caveat that must be stringently adhered to – You must remain in the surrounding area of your place of worship, to service that surrounding community.  Service? Yes, we are going to minister to one another by canvassing and getting to know our neighbors again and asking “What can we assist you with?” 

You've seen the women’s marches around the globe, the protesters filling the streets for Black and All Lives Matter campaigns; now imagine that on steroids; not just a Million Man March but a Countries March.  No one country has risen up, all at one time to show unity.  America is just that great that I believe that we can get it done.

No congestion in the streets because the vehicles will be parked and the streets filled to capacity with pedestrians as the days of old, marching to take America.

All it takes is ONE DAY!  The media will have no other coverage than that of Making America Great Again”.  ONE DAY to show a united front.  Yes, Mr. Trump you too!  All heads of state, government and Supreme Court justices.  No one is exempt, everyone is being held accountable, from the least to the greatest.   

Imagine our streets, our towns, our cities, our enclaves and our hamlets filled with what’s needed to repair what is broken – LOVE.

No police in riot gear because they too can participate but no one will have time to commit mayhem, murder or rob and pillage because everyone will be everywhere; that’s so like God – omnipotent and omnipresent.

“Let’s Hit The Road Jack” and change the entire world in a days’ time.  It can be done but it’s going to take YOU to make it happen. 

Great Leaders are made great by making great examples at the most opportunistic time.  President Trump, if this missive makes it to you, here is your greatest time to unite the country that you declared would be made great again and it will only take one day to Get ‘R Done! 

America… Let’s get ready to shock the world – Again!  Spread The Word!

Our God is so awesome because he does things out of the ordinary. Why is it that he tends to bless us more after we fail than when we are walking in righteousness? He uses the foolishness of this world to confound the wise. He loves to show us his Great Faithfulness and Tender Mercies right in a time when we think that we aren't deservant to be looked upon; that is when we need the love the most and that is when he gives his love the most. The consequence and re-testing may come later but he knows just how to love us right back into his bosom... What a mighty God we serve!
