We never thought that we would be the odd-man out – the minority; yet we find ourselves at the threshold of being brought face-to-face with what a peculiar people means.  What it means to be called out and set aside for God.  No other time on this Earth than in our recent history has it been glaringly obvious, religion, organized or not has exposed how different we really are or not. 

The world is shifting to become more inclusive regardless of its tide going against the core principle beliefs of our faith.

The new tag word is love, but that’s just an old cliché or better still an abused platitude that has run its course.  It has nothing at all to do with love – its rebellion. 

The Inquisition is now in full-force against what we once called “The Church”, but we are so splintered and fragmented as a body, no wonder we aren't as efficacious as we once were and the power and leadership has be stripped; or haven’t you noticed?

Transgender restrooms and gay rights triumphantly marching right past civil rights, leaving blacks once again disenfranchised in our plight – used and abused.  Gay rights have made strides in the past decade that eclipsed what we as blacks have been struggling for since our feet touched soil in this new homeland – centuries and counting…

Everyone’s agenda nowadays trumps that of which the Lord has called us to be Stallworth’s of the faith against.  Quite ironic that Trump is running for President… How apropos indeed… And to be against doesn't mean that you should not exist, but that we as Christians also have the same rights to believe, that you have not to believe.  God himself doesn't force us to do his will, because that’s not love.  Love says, “I’ll do your will because I love you”. We fight past our own will and submit ours to his because he first loved us and what he did on the cross blows our minds, and we strive through trial and error to right wrongs and live as pleasing to him as his graces us to be.

We only have this one world to co-exist upon and each of us has the God-given right to live it as we so choose.  We all are pro-choice if you ask me.  Just allow me to serve my God and to give him all the glory, honor and praise.  And if YOU choose to join with me, and do the same unabashedly in love of The Father, The Son (Jesus) and The Holy Ghost, we can reverse the tide and show that the love of God surpasses all understanding. 

Let’s love on God again and learn what that feels like, and it won’t be so peculiar to you.

Why value the creation, the gift or talent moreover the Creator of said thing? 

God’s money… because that’s whose it is, is the cheapest part of him.  Desire his heart, and the money, along with all other things both desired and needed, will also be included.

Money can’t heal a broken heart, resurrect a dead loved-one or cure disease.  Heck, money can’t even cure a common headache, in fact, having it sometimes causes the headache worrying about not losing it or making more of it. 

Peace isn't found in having more money, it’s found in having more of God. 

Prioritize your life and your life will become far less stressful.

Make God "Top Priority" and he will make you and your needs Top Priority.

If you’re not willing to trust God, then don’t get mad and frustrated at the outcome of your life.  It’s what you chose.  We all get the same choice to trust God.  The choice(s) may be different and vary individually regarding what we are trusting in him for, but it’s the same God.

Sometimes we have to be put on mute; we talking, but what we are saying or doing isn't being heard or received by the masses. If we were called and we know we have the words to liven dead bones and spirits, or to do whatever that which God has placed in our spirits to do and it not having come to fruition, will make you wonder. The backside of a desert is a hella place to spend a good portion of your life.

We must learn to be OK, alright, and content with being placed in an obscure place and position and trust God in this process. Everyone doesn’t get the stage, mic, pulpit, television or radio broadcast. No matter how much you Go Live, Periscope, YouTube or Snapchat.

And what we must do as believers is learn; then find a way to swallow a hard pill... What if?

Or then we have to ask ourselves was it really about God like we said in the first place? Those that are that say they "living for Jesus and Jesus alone".

Here comes where that Jacob transforming into Israel; that WWE wrestling match with what was and that which is to BEcome happens - not scripted or faked, choreographed routines. There will be real pain and real blood, sweat and tears.

If it’s about HIM, then trust HIM and his process. Whew! I said it. I pray I’m not just blowing hot air.

God “Absolutely” Approves of Homosexuals says Joel Osteen

One of America’s most well-known evangelical pastors, Joel Osteen, recently declared that God “absolutely” approves of everyone, including homosexuals.

The Houston megapastor and best-selling author has been touring to all the talk shows lately to promote his new book Break Out! 5 Keys to Go Beyond Your Barriers and Live an Extraordinary Life.

Osteen, who has been the pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston since 1999, recently talked to the Huffington Post about several subjects, including his thoughts on homosexuality.

HuffPo Live host Josh Zepps quoted from Osteen’s new book: “It doesn’t matter who likes you or who doesn’t like you, all that matters is God likes you. He accepts you, he approves of you.”

Zepps went on to ask Osteen if that included homosexuals.

“Absolutely,” Osteen insisted.

“I believe that God has breathed his life into every single person. We’re all on a journey. Nobody’s perfect,” stated the pastor who oversees a congregation of 45,000 followers, including the likes of Cher and Oprah Winfrey. “The Bible said a sin is pride, a sin is selfish ambition. We tend to pick out these certain things,” he add.
Let’s see what the Bible says:

Romans 1:26-32 ²⁶ For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. ²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; ²⁹ Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, ³⁰ Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,³¹ Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: ³² Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ⁹ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Leviticus 20:13 ¹³ If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

And regarding Osteen:

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

One more very important point I’d like to make: love doesn’t equal approval. You can love your child and still disapprove of what they do. Likewise, God can love us but that doesn’t mean He necessarily approves of us. Osteen is saying that God approves of everyone, and that is wrong. God does not approve of sinners (whichever sin it may be) unless we turn from our ways and towards Jesus for repentance.

My thoughts: OMG! He's using deceptive word-play to make it not appear as though he's against homosexuality... God doesn't mince words and neither should he. It's true God loves everyone but he does issue out directives of the Do's and Don'ts. Don't let Joel Osteen Ministries get you lost. You are the only one who will be responsible for showing up to Hell, or Heaven for that matter. Judgment alone rest with YOU alone.
